International Conference on Sensing, Communication and Networking
6–9 July 2021 // Virtual Conference

Welcome to IEEE SECON 2021!

For conference attendees

If you have not yet received your connection details, please contact Chiara Boldrini (c.boldrini@iit.cnr.it) forwarding your registration receipt.

Looking beyond current sensing, communication, and networking paradigms, IEEE SECON continues to emphasize pioneering cross-disciplinary work as its signature footprint in the contemporary research landscape. IEEE SECON will offer full days of original paper presentations, tutorials, workshops, keynotes, demonstrations, designed to further the in-depth understanding of the latest advancements in sensing, communications, and networking.

SECON 2021 Goes Fully Virtual

IEEE has been monitoring the developing Coronavirus, COVID-19. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, the Organizing Committee of IEEE SECON 2021, in concert with the Steering Committee and IEEE, has decided that the conference will run as a virtual conference (i.e., using remote audio/video support) and not as an in-person event. Authors will be required to present their paper remotely, according to IEEE policies and procedures about publication(s). Attendees will still be able to enjoy the presentations and interact with the authors remotely.

We will communicate the details of the specific audio/video tools we will be using, as well as, the scheduling and format of paper presentations and other conference events.

A registration will still be required for all authors and conference attendees; we are currently re-defining this aspect.

Apply for a N2Women Young Researcher Fellowship

N2Women is pleased to announce the continuation of our N2Women Young Researcher Fellowship awards. N2Women considers you a young researcher if you are currently a student, working as a post-doc, or in the 1st or 2nd year of your new research career. These awards will partially cover a young researcher’s conference registration cost only (up to $1000) to a meeting where an N2Women event will be held.
In exchange, the young researcher must help organize the N2Women meeting at the conference. The benefit of doing the organization, in addition to covering of the registration fee, is for the young researcher to connect with the organizers of the conference who are, typically, leaders in the research field. We will arrange for a faculty or research member of N2Women to assist/mentor the young researcher in this task.Support for these N2Women Young Researcher Fellowship awards has been generously provided by ACM SIGMOBILE, ACM SIGCOMM, IEEE ComSoc, IEEE CS TCCC, Facebook, Microsoft Research, HP Labs and Google Research. To apply for a fellowship or for more information, please see: http://n2women.comsoc.org/ and click the Fellowships link.
